Sidharth Shukla's Swansong, Habit-A SidNaaz Song Has Shehnaaz Gill Fighting Back Her Tears While Remembering Him-WATCH Heartbreaking Video
SPOILER ALERT! If you have been a Sidharth Shukla fan or a SidNaaz fan, you need to watch this video with a tissue box by your side - for you'll cry at the tyranny of the Almighty. Such a talent gone too soon... Sidharth Shukla's screen presence breaks out of the screen and reminds us of the performer he was - effortlessly towering!

The late Sidharth Shukla’s swansong, Habit, released on Wednesday, a day earlier than scheduled - on popular demand. The heartbreaking music video features him with his lady love, actor Shehnaaz Gill. Heartbreaking, because Shehnaaz appears at the start of the video - all washed out, fighting back her tears, and mouthing a few lines - "Bichhda iss kadar ki rut hi badal gayi, ek shaks saare sheher ko viraan kar gaya..." This time, her eyes do all the talking, and we cannot stop crying.

Singer Shreya Ghoshal on Wednesday posted the link to the music video and wrote on Twitter, “Thousands of #SidNaaz fans wanted the song immediately. Who are we to come in the way? #HABIT OUT NOW.”

The music video is a showreel of SidNaaz moments from the unfinished shoot of Habit's music video in Goa, including the behind-the-scenes footage as well.

The heartbreaking part is Shehnaaz forgot her own grief to finish Sidharth's last project, as according to what we hear, she shot for the recording studio bits only recently.

Sidharth Shukla breathed his last in the wee hours of September 2, reportedly in Shehnaaz's lap. He was only 40.

Shehnaaz, devastated by the loss, has since kept away from the media glare and has maintained a low profile. It was only recently that she made her first public appearance after Sidharth’s demise. She appeared during the promotions of her Punjabi film, ‘Honsla Rakh’ with Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa.

Sidharth and Shehnaaz had shot parts of the Habit music video in November last year. The next schedule could not be completed due to the second wave of the Covid pandemic earlier this year.

Music label Saregama had earlier announced that Habit would be released as Adhura, as a tribute to the late actor. But SidNaaz fans took offence, as for them the SidNaaz love saga is not 'adhura' or incomplete. Habit returned to its original title earlier this week.

“He was a star and will be forever... The love of millions of hearts will shine bright forever. #Habit our unfinished song.. #Adhura hai par phir bhi poora rahega.. #Sidnaaz ka yeh aakhri gaana, har fan ki khwahish, hamesha ke liye humare dilon mein zinda rahega (It is incomplete yet it will be complete. The last song of Sidnaaz, the wish of every fan, will stay alive in our hearts forever),” Shreya had written in an Instagram post.

Meanwhile, SidNaaz fans are as numb as we are. On one hand, they are missing Sidharth and on the other, they are lauding the strength with which Shehnaaz completed Sid's last project.

For the uninitiated, Sidharth and Shehnaaz met on Bigg Boss 13, which he later won. Their banter and friendship soon turned into love. They were reportedly planning to tie the knot in December this year.

Sidharth saw unprecedented success after his BB13 win. He was loved by millions, and his fans and followers still cannot get over the gigantic loss. We miss you, Sidharth Shukla!
